Staying in a 50's Motel

We recently stayed in this motel in Canandaigua, New York. A couple bought this run-down motel a few years ago and are trying to restore in to it glory days.

Rock Climbing in Vineland

A local church held a community picnic inviting everyone in the area. There was free rock climbing for the young people. I photographed this girl as she approached the top of the climb.

20 Bees Winery has changed its name to "Diamond Estates - The Winery". Located in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

New Winery

I had to take a photo of the De Moura Winery sign for the "Wines of Canada" website. The building is in a metal shed it wasn't worth taking a photo of that.

Happy 13th Birthday, 13th Street Winery

"The Frosted Cupcake" provided the cakes at the 13th Street Winery party on Saturday. Four new wines were released as well.

We Serve Real Coffee, Really!

Someone who recently stayed at our "free" B&B said they were going to Tim Horton's because we didn't have any real coffee. Other friends brought us this package of coffee beans and as you can see marked it "real coffee"!

Between the Lines is one of the newer wineries in Niagara. Their unoaked Cabernet Franc is really good.

It's great to see ripe, locally-grown tomatoes at the roadside stands not imported unripe tomatoes that are injected to turn red!

You Woke Me Up!

Our youngest cat, Sage, usually sleeps on our bed in the afternoon. I tried to take a photo of her laying on her back but she woke up before I got the camera ready.
