I've almost finished editing 350 photos of our trip to England and Wales. This is the last photo I took of England and thought it looked best in black & white.

Calamus Winery Renovations

I was asked to photograph the progress of the outside renovations at Calamus. Unfortunately, it rained most of the weekend so I wasn't able to get any outside photos. Instead I took this shot of the renovations to the new tasting room. If you've visited Calamus in the past, you might have had to use an outside "johnny-on-the-spot". You'll be pleased to know the new tasting room will be complete with inside toilets!

This was a "family & friends" party to mark the completion of some major renovations at the winery. In the courtyard or "piazza" there are number of engraved stones including this one honouring the founding of Inniskillin.

Land "Rover"

We toured Wales and Somerset, England in my friend's Land Rover. However, this ornamental grille from a Rover was hanging, of all places, in front of a Subaru dealership! Maybe not that surprising considering that both Rover and Jaguar are now owned by an Indian Company. Not much British heritage left in England these days!

Flying Over Greenland

While editing my photos of England and Wales I decided to see what this photo of Greenland from the plane would look like in black & white. I think it makes a more dramatic picture.
