A fitting label for a wine produced "on the Beamsville Bench". However, at $100 a bottle, I won't be buying this wine!
We recently did the wine and cheese matching seminar at Hillebrand Estates Winery. All three pairings were great. Wine served - Artists Series Chardonnay, 2009 Trius Red and Riesling Icewine.
With all the hot weather we're having in Ontario this year, the grapes are progressing quite well. If this keeps up it maybe an early harvest. Taken at Hillebrand Estates Winery.
These colourful tomatoes were at a roadside stand in Vineland.
There was another beautiful sunset at Charles Daley Park this evening but by the time I got back to the car and drove to a clear spot to take the photo, the sun had dipped below the horizon!
After taking sunset shots at Charles Daley Park, I noticed that the moon was out and almost full. The sky was much lighter than the photo shows but with a contrast adjustment in Photoshop the sky darkened and the moon shows up much better.
Taken at Charles Daley Park.
Every time we pass this gate in St. Catharines, I never seem to have my camera with me. Well, finally, I managed to purposely take my camera today.
Taken in our backyard.
The sun was just going behind the clouds when I took this photo from Charles Daley Park.

After a slow start in Spring, these grapes are coming along quite nicely. If the hot weather keeps up, it should be another good year for wine. A little rain would help, however.
It was another great evening for taking sunset shots last night. Photographed from Charles Daley Park looking over Lake Ontario.

One of Laura's peacocks. He wouldn't open up his feathers on this visit!

A staff member of Inniskillin is serving up the ingredients for customers to make s'mores: marshmallows for toasting on an open fire, graham crackers and chocolate. They were great but very messy to eat!
While at a BBQ at Laura's farm on Sunday night, I managed to take some photos of flowers on the property.
My great niece, Bethany, had her 8th Birthday party yesterday. This is her cat birthday cake! Created by "Oh for Goodness Cakes" of Guelph.
