The Grimsby Archives donated over 100 copies of this book to the Ontario Wine Society. It was written by Wm. F. Rannie in 1978 and it's an interesting account of the Ontario wine industry from 1811 to 1978.

We were invited to a private wine tasting at Megalomaniac Wines yesterday. John Howard was there to talk about the wines. All reserve wines were great. We especially liked the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
I don't know how much Stratus paid for this "art" behind their tasting bar but I think a monkey could do much better. Or maybe I just don't understand modern art???
These three unusual paintings are hanging in the retail area of Pilliterri Winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
PondView is another new winery in Niagara-0n-the-Lake. It opened last June.
