Marmalade's Professional Photo Shoot

We lost our oldest cat, Marmalade, two years ago Wednesday. This is one of the proofs a professional photographer took of her. It's very close to the photo that he finally used for the Sobey's cat food label which had Marmalade on the label for many years.

We lost our oldest cat, Pepper, yesterday. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. Despite her blindness, she managed quite well and was always a happy cat and friendly to everyone.

Remembering Marmalade

It was one year ago today that we lost our first cat, Marmalade. She's seen here on a Sobey's cat food label where she appeared for many years. She got $250 for this shoot. No royalties of still photos - pity!

I bought my first fixed lens for my digital camera. It's an inexpensive Nikon 50 mm 1.8D. The salesman said it's one of Nikon's best selling lenses. I had to try it out with this photo of our youngest cat, Sage.

Our second oldest cat, Pepper, is 15 years old. She was found injured by the side of the road about 14 years ago and we adopted her. We're not sure her exact birthday so we just use Christmas Day as the date.
