Doves on the Deck

Sue noticed five doves on our deck this morning. All five flew on to the railing and I quickly grabbed my camera. I had to shoot through the bedroom window so was not able to get all five of the birds in focus. They all then flew off one by one to the side fence and then away.

Everything's Ducky

These ducks were at "Broadway at the Beach" in Myrtle Beach. They were waiting for the leftover popcorn from a popcorn vendor. They would actually beg for the food.

The beach was closed for swimming but these surfers with wetsuits were able to enjoy the waves.

Rest in Peace, Pepper

We lost our oldest cat, Pepper, yesterday. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. Despite her blindness, she managed quite well and was always a happy cat and friendly to everyone.

This black lamb was one of the flock that will be used in the vineyards at Featherstone Estate Winery.

The Sheep are Coming Back

At a special event at Featherstone Estate Winery last Saturday, they were showing the sheep that gave birth to some of the lambs that will help trim the grapes leaves this summer.
