I picked up an award last night for third place in the Architectural Elements category of the Doors Open BiNational photo competition. The photo is called "Angles - Southbrook Close UP". The event was at Jackson-Triggs Winery.

I bought my first fixed lens for my digital camera. It's an inexpensive Nikon 50 mm 1.8D. The salesman said it's one of Nikon's best selling lenses. I had to try it out with this photo of our youngest cat, Sage.
Lailey Vineyard Winery has just installed a new sign showing where their various grapes our planted. There was a bicycle parked behind the sign when I took this photo.
