Alvento Winery in Jordan had a fabulous open house last weekend. They had 8 different wines to try and 2 barrel samples. Included in the tasting was a 2006 Nebbiolo. This is only the second winery in Niagara to produce this wine. There was some wonderful food prepared by Chef Erik Peacock of Wellington Court Restaurant.
