Buck, R.I.P.

Unfortunately, Laura Sabourin's dog, Buck, died this week. I was able to take this shot last year of Buck sitting with one of Laura's many Ragdoll cats.

A number of wineries are members of the 20 Valley Association. This was taken at the opening of Greenlane Estate Winery which became a member.

In Bloom

A daylily stem broke off a plant outside. It was brought inside and a few days later it was in full bloom.

Sue to the Rescue

Sue noticed this turtle on the road by our house. We managed to pick it up and put it back in the pond area across the road. Hopefully it will stay there.

When we were at the official opening of Greenlane Winery, that had various wine stations set up in the vineyards for the next day when they had an open house for the public.

Greenlane Estate Winery Officially Opens

Greenlane Estate Winery officially opened today (July 16th) with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. It was attended by representatives of three levels of government. The grapes by the ribbon were picked this morning and are extremely large for this time of year. It should be a great harvest!

Another winery has opened in Niagara. Greenlane Estate Winery opened on July 1st. It's on the former site of Birchwood Estate Winery on Cherry Avenue in Beamsville.
