Marmalade, our oldest cat, passed away yesterday. She will be missed.

Studio in Winter

To produce this picture, I took a photo of the studio, changed it to black and white and lightened the same photo in Photoshop. I then merged all three photos. This helped to get rid of the blue colour of the snow in the original. The building is in Jordan Station. I'm not sure what it's used for but would make a great artist studio.

Since it's too cold to take photos outside, I thought I would take this shot of two ceramic pears that we have in our hallway. The photo was then layered with a texture using Photoshop Elements.

Our trip to California in 2004 started in Sacremento and a visit to the R.H. Phillips winery, makers of Toasted Head wines. Unfortunately, production has now moved to the Mondavi Woodbridge facility in Lodi. Another casualty of Constellation Brands taking over a winery.

Winery Stained Glass

I was uploading vacation photos of our trip to California in 2004 to Flickr today. This stained glass window was taken at the former Inglenook Winery now called Rubicon Estate Winery owned by director, Francis Ford Coppola.
