This clown was at the Tim Hudak BBQ. He was amazing at making balloon characters for the kids like Spiderman, etc.

Dalton McGuinty?

We were at Tim Hudak's (Ontario PC Party Leader) BBQ at the Balls Falls Conservation Area yesterday. One of the speakers joked that this clown beared a resemblance to Dalton McGuinty!

Art at Calamus Estate Winery

We were at Calamus winery today when we noticed some painters from an art group in the Burlington area. This lady agreed to pose for me with her painting of the Calamus barn.

14 past Grape Kings were at the installation of the 2009 Grape King yesterday at Schenck Farms in St. Catharines.

This years Grape King is Bill Schenck of St. Catharines. Bill grows grapes for Vincor including Jackson-Triggs and Inniskillin Wineries.

There was a special day at the Balls Fall Conservation yestereday including a display of reptiles and birds. This is one of the parrots on display.

After "Fallstock"

After the "Fallstock" event at Calamus Estate Winery we sat around the campfire and listened to the Horne Brothers band play. Robin Horne played the guitar and sang. Baco Noir grapes are growing in the vineyards in the background.

New LCBO Store

I took this shot with the Olympus camera before I was told that I couldn't take photos inside an LCBO store. This was for security reasons and to protect the staff! Give me a break.

Heron on the Pond

A heron was spotted on the run-off pond across from our house. This shot was with a 200mm telephoto lens and cropped in Photoshop. It's times like this I wish I had a longer zoom.

Restaurant on the Beach

After having a hamburger and fries at Hutch's on the Beach, we walked along the pathway on the beach and passed this restaurant. It looked quite interesting.

Classic Ford Truck F100 Insignia

I usually don't get comments on my Flickr site but a few people really like this shot of the Ford emblem. The background is the body of the truck and the reflection from the sky gives the background a satin appearance.

A Classic Car Show was at Hutch's in Hamilton on Monday. Took photos of car insignias after having a burger & fries. Not good for the waistline! Click on photo to see the pigeon on the chef's hat.

There was another Classic Car Show yesterday at Hutch's on the Beach in Hamilton. I'm collecting classic car insignias and putting them on my Flickr site. The backround is the actual car's body. In some cases, cleaned up a little in Photoshop.
