Snowdrifts

The Niagara area received about 50 cm of snow this past weekend but the snowdrifts were much deeper. Taken in our backyard.

A Common Sight

The snowblower is a common sight on the streets of Niagara this winter. This "vintage" model snowblower is owned by a neighbour who bought it on the Internet for $50. With a bit of mechanic's "know how" and $6 in parts in works quite well and certainly has paid for itself this year!
