A new winery opened today in Beamsville for the Cuvee weekend. Rosewood is Niagara's first meadery. They also produce a number of grape wines. The official opening will be May 3rd.

Rosewood won 2 Gold Medals last nite at the Ontario Wine Awards for the 2006 Estate Merlot and 200 Pinot Gris.
What a great accomplishment for a winery that hasn't even officially opened yet. Congratulations!
